How progression and planetary patrol activities operate.
🔋 The Prismatic Core
Forget rigid subclasses. Stripped of default Light, players build their ability node paths organically by absorbing elements across the eras:
- Phase 1 (Origins): Raw Solar & Arc, Hive Soulfire, Void 1.0, SIVA Nanites, and Thorn-Poison elements.
- Phase 2 (Legacy): Light 2.0 (Volatility/Lifesteal), Chrono-Nodes (Rewind time 3 seconds to dodge death), Blight (Taken fields), Stasis, Strand, and Dual-Super capabilities.
- Phase 3 (Fate): Resonance (Pyramid concussive shocks), Dark Matter (Gravity manipulation & flight), Radiolarian Overclock (Trade health for instant cooldown reset), and The Final Ascendance (Combine all elements seamlessly).
🗺️ Roaming World Boss Tiers
Patrol zones dynamically spawn roaming boss threats requiring active cooperation from players in the area:
- Tier 1: Threat Vectors (3-Player Target): Roaming mini-bosses (like a rogue Captain or Centurion). Solo players can manage, but 3-player squads optimize speed.
- Tier 2: Zone Overlords (6-Player Target): Massive Hive Ogres or combat frames locking down a sub-zone with heavy shields. Requires 6-player cooperation to break.
- Tier 3: System Anomalies (12-Player World Boss): System-wide alarms. Merges server instances to pull 12 Guardians into a multi-stage open-world raid encounter with screen-clearing AoE attacks.
🔄 The progression Loop
Meaningless currency bloat is deleted. Open-world Frontline events feed directly into character growth:
Prismatic Core Tuners
Lost Archives and World Bosses reward Spark Fragments—the exclusive materials needed to unlock high-tier subclass nodes and dual-supers.
Exotic Calibration
Defeating World Bosses or securing outposts with your Exotics infuses them with timeline energy, upgrading their stats and unlocking their catalysts.
Timeline Keys
Reaching 100% weekly "Chronal Stability" in open-world sectors awards a Chronal Attunement Key, guaranteeing high-tier drops from Raids or unlocking secret paths in Dungeons.
